Take a look at our interview with Len Rosso, Head of Industrial & Logistics at Colliers. Len shares what inspired him to focus on this area of the sector, his thoughts on the next 'big thing' in industrial and logistics, and the key insights he hopes attendees will take away from his session.

Q) Why do you think the Industrial & Logistics Conference is important for the sector?

A) It’s a good opportunity to get the leading agents, developers and funds together in one place, to swap ideas and drum up new solutions to ensure that the sector keeps on moving forward with the times.

Q) What excites you most about your upcoming session at the Industrial & Logistics Conference?

A) Probably the chance to explore how all our views differ or align on the market – it’s always great to get together and debate what we’re all seeing across our client bases.

Q) Which trends or forces do you think will shape industrial and logistics in the upcoming year?

A) Supply, development costs and occupier demands.

Q) What inspired you to get involved in this area of the sector?

A) When I started in commercial real estate 40 years ago, I found that it was the people in the industrial sector that made me want to specialise in this area. everyone is open-minded, and down-to-earth and here to get a job done, and done well.

Q) What do you see as the next “big thing” in industrial and logistics?

A) Data centres are the next big thing, everyone wants to know if their site is suitable for that market.

Q) What do you hope attendees take away from your session?

A) I hope they will find it insightful, our sector has had a whirlwind of a decade and I’m sure there’s more exciting things to come.
