James joined RLAM in 2006 as a Fund Manager to run the Industrial and logistics portfolios of the RLUKREF, RLPF and RLPPF funds. This involved the buying, letting and selling of estates all over the country. The industrial and logistics portfolio under his control has grown to £3.5bn. Prior to RLAM, James worked at Land Securities Trillium and then F&C Asset Management. James has a degree in Urban Estate Management from Northumbria University and was elected a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 1992.
